AKIM OF KARAGANDA REGION VISITED BUKETOV UNIVERSITY

On April 17, 2025, Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of academician E.A. Buketov, visited the university on a working visit.Rector of the university Dulatbekov N.O. met with the head of the region and spoke about the current state of the university. During the visit, the akim of the region got acquainted with the work of the modern library, which recently opened at the Faculty of Philology. The new library, which operates around the clock, has become not just an information space for students and teachers, but also a special environment for the development of thinking and scientific activity.The head of the region also inquired about the issue of providing students with housing. During the visit, the topics of improving the burial site of Buketov, arranging pedestrian paths, as well as jointly with the regional akimat, organizing events dedicated to the scientist's anniversary during the year were raised. Repair work is currently underway on Universitetskaya Street. Another piece of news is that Buketov Square will be improved.
