On December 4, at the Arm Wrestling Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among athletes with musculoskeletal and visual impairments among youth under 23 in the 65 kg weight category, a 3rd-year student of the educational program "Cultural and Leisure Work" of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of the Karaganda University named after E. A. Buketov, Quraqbai Miras took 3rd place. He received a ticket to the World Championship in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, in January 2025.
