On 20 December 2024 the meeting of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of Karaganda Buketov University Dulatbekov N.O. with 15 teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages was held. The main issue of the discussion was the direction of the teaching staff of the faculty for scientific training in Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (Samarkand, Uzbekistan), which will be held from 8 to 18 January 2025. During the meeting the details of the visit, its objectives and expected results were discussed. Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Dulatbekov N.O. stressed the importance of such international programs for professional development of teachers, improving the quality of education and strengthening ties with foreign educational institutions. The Chairman of the Board-Rector noted the importance of the development of international scientific and educational collaboration, which opens new horizons for the exchange of experience and knowledge. They also talked about the need to improve the qualifications of teachers, the introduction of modern methods and educational standards to improve the learning process. At the end of the meeting the prospects for further development of the faculty were discussed, as well as possible steps to expand international cooperation and introduce innovative approaches to teaching foreign languages.
