On 3 March, Madelina Lupu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited Karaganda Buketov University.Madelina Lupu told the students about the role of women in diplomacy. Today they make a huge contribution to the development and prosperity of states. Their leadership style, experience and priorities broaden the range of issues under consideration and improve the quality of results. After the lecture, the presentation of the film «Queen Maria – the Heart of Romania» took place.The film was first shown at the «Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest 2019» festival and won the audience award. The plot of the film is based on real events and unfolds during the peace negotiations of 1919, when Queen Maria of Romania goes to the Paris Peace Conference to lobby for the interests of her country, to fight for international recognition of the unification of Romania, for the realisation of the great dream of the Romanian people: «United Romania (Great Romania)».Such a format of communication is useful for the student youth. The event took place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
