On March 5, 2025, a delegation from Karaganda Buketov University visited the Azerbaijan StateUniversity of Oil and Industry in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the visit, a meeting took placebetween the rector of Karaganda Buketov University and Associate Professor, Rector ofAzerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, RufatAzizov.The main outcome of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the twoinstitutions aimed at developing partnership relations and mutually beneficial cooperation inseveral key areas. Theagreementcoversthefollowingareas:1. Promoting exchanges between the universities.2. Accepting students from the partner university (bachelor's, master's, and doctoralstudents) for study and/or research.3. Organizing symposia, conferences, courses, and meetings dedicated to current researchissues.4. Joint development and implementation of educational programs focused on lifelonglearning and collaborative research.5. Exchanging information on innovative teaching methods and administrative practices.6. Organizing joint activities in the field of environmental protection.7. Exchanging scientific and methodological publications, which will enhance the quality ofresearch and educational processes at both institutions.At the end of the visit, an agreement was reached regarding participation in the InternationalChemistry Conference, which will take place in April 2025 at the Azerbaijan State University ofOil and Industry in Baku. As part of this event, a delegation of young scientists will be sent toparticipate in the conference, exchange experiences, and strengthen academic ties withAzerbaijani colleagues.
