A festive concert dedicated to International Volunteer Day took place at the Palace of Students of Karaganda University named after Academician Buketov. The event was attended by members of the volunteer club “Biz Barmyz” and volunteer organizations of 12 faculties. Rector Nurlan Dulatbekov made a welcoming speech. He recalled that two years ago the university was awarded the title “The Kindest University.” To develop and support the volunteer movement, as well as promote and encourage public organizations, the most active volunteers were awarded letters of gratitude from the National Volunteer Network and cash certificates. The event ended with a festive concert, at which, in addition to the students, the famous singer Madi Akhmetkozha performed.
