Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Cheng Siyu Ying, together with other young scientists from Karaganda Buketov University, are working on a project to develop nanocarriers using polysaccharide derivatives and their complexes for transporting anti-tuberculosis drugs. Research is carried out in the laboratory “Chemical Materials Science” of the Faculty of Chemistry. Cheng Siyu Ying emphasizes the importance of using modern equipment, such as atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope, laser particle size analyzer, and others, to optimize the conditions for obtaining biopolymer nanoparticles and loading them with drugs. The research results promise significant contributions to polymer chemistry, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology and medicine.
