07.12.2022 within the framework of the project AR14870260 " Development of functional literacy of primary school students in the context of digitalization of education ", a seminar on "Theoretical and practical issues of development of functional literacy of primary school students in the conditions of digitalization of education" was held at the Pedagogical faculty of the Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov. The seminar was attended by teachers of MPI "Lyceum school №66", MPI "Gymnasium school named after Akhmet Baitursynov", MPI "Lyceum school named after Alimkhan Ermekov" and by specialists of the "Educational and methodological center for the development of education of Karaganda region".
The seminar is aimed at analyzing the content of the joint work of primary school teachers of secondary schools of Karaganda city, and teachers of Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov on the development of functional literacy of primary school students in the conditions of digitalization of education.
During the seminar, was conducted an overview of international studies of TIMSS, PIRLSS; were discussed the theoretical aspects of the development of functional literacy of primary school students and the issues of foreign experience in functional literacy; were considered the examples of practical tasks for the development of functional literacy of primary school students.
At the end of the seminar, the upcoming joint work plan was discussed and the results were summed up.
