On February 21, 2025, the Faculty of Economics hosted the Republican scientific and practical conference of students and postgraduates "New generation and problems of economic development of the state", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of E.A. Buketov.The conference was held in the following sections:1. Socio-economic problems of economic development of Kazakhstan in modern conditions.2. Priorities and trends in the development of management in modern conditions and in the future.3. Problems and prospects for the development of accounting, evaluation and audit.4. Priorities of the financial and credit sector of the economy in achieving the strategic development goals of the Republic of Kazakhstan.5. Marketing research on the development of economic sectors of Kazakhstan.The variety of thematic sections provided an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues related to the search for and achievement of a balance of interests of participants in economic relations.Within the framework of the conference, the participants considered current scientific and practical aspects of the transformation of the economic and social development of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the development of the digital economy in the country.
