PREMIERE OF THE MONO-OPERA

The Karaganda premiere of the mono-opera "Tolyq Adam. Oi Tolgau. Hakim Abai" took place at the Shalkyma Concert Hall. This performance is dedicated to the works of the great Kazakh poet, philosopher, and thinker Abai Kunanbaev. The author and performer of the mono-opera is the People's Artist of Kazakhstan and laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shakhimardan Abilov. The piano part was performed by Aliyar Otetileu, a laureate of international competitions. The mono-opera consists of well-known works by Abai, including poems and songs such as "Kozımnın Qarasy," "Segiz Aiaq," "Boyi Bulgan," and others. Shakhimardan Abilov embodied the image of the great poet and thinker Abai on stage, conveying his inner experiences, hopes, and reflections on the fate of the people. It is worth noting that Shakhimardan Abilov dedicated an entire chapter of his 40-year creative journey to the songs of Abai. The audience was able to hear popular compositions such as "Kozımnın Qarasy" and "Boyi Bulgan," as well as the well-known piece with profound moral content, "Segiz Aiaq." The piano part was performed by Aliyar Otetileu. Among the attendees at the premiere was the rector of the conservatory, Dyusen Korabayevich Kaseinov (Honored Figure of Arts of the Kazakh SSR (1984), rector of the Almaty State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy from 1987 to 1997, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2003 to 2004, and Secretary-General of TURKSKOY from 2008 to 2022), who has frequently been a guest at the Palace of Students of Buketov Karaganda University. Students from Buketov University attended the concert and listened with great enthusiasm to the works of the renowned artist. At the conclusion of the event, Shakhimardan Abilov was presented with flowers on behalf of the university staff.
