Congratulations on winning the IX All-Russian competition (with international participation) of research projects “Hotel of the 21st century: innovative concepts of hotel business development in Russia and CIS countries-2023”!
The competition was organized by the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business of the Faculty of Service, Tourism and Hospitality of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics (https://unecon.ru/).
146 students took part in the IX All-Russian competition (with international participation) of research projects “Hotel of the 21st century”, 40 projects from Russia and Kazakhstan were announced.
11 out of 25 bachelor’s degree projects were admitted to the final stage among which was the project of our team!
Among the finalists of the competition were universities: Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Siberian University of Consumer Cooperation, Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University and others.
On May 19, the grand final of the Higher Education competition in a mixed format took place in St. Petersburg.
According to the results of the meeting of the competition commission, the project “Jeti Aina” took the 1st place.
The team of the Karaganda Buketov University with the project “Jeti Aina” was presented by students of the Marketing Department:
- 3 courses of the EP “Restaurant and hotel business” - Leila Kurpebayeva;
- 4 courses of the EP “Tourism” - Shipilova Yelizaveta;
- 4 courses of the EP “Tourism” - Brem Alina;
- 1st year of the EP “Restaurant and hotel business” - Seitov Zhandos.
Scientific supervisors:
Mamrayeva Dinara Gabitovna – the Head of the Marketing Department, Candidate of Economics, Associated Professor;
Tashenova Larissa Vladimirovna – the Director of the Institute for Digital Economy Research, Associated Professor of the Marketing Department;
Grebenyuk Darya Dmitriyevna – Master of Economics, Teacher of the Marketing Department.
For the winning teams, an excursion was organized by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associated Professor of the Hotel and Restaurant Business Department Ruglova Lydia Vladimirovna in “Alexander House” as well as in the historical district of St. Petersburg - Kolomna.
