PAIRED BURIAL FROM THE BRONZE AGE KYZYLTAU NECROPOLIS

The monument is located on the territory of the Taldinsky Historical and Archaeological Park. Thus, during the work on the Kyzyltau necropolis, an intact double burial was discovered, where a man and a woman lie facing each other and even after death they remained inseparable. Most likely, the discovered couple belonged to a noble family. Various jewelry made of gold and bronze were found on the girl: two bronze earrings plated with gold leaf, solar plaques found in the area of the torso, 5 fluted beadings, as well as two pairs of metal bracelets with ends twisted into a spiral, partially preserving their original position (worn on the wrist of the right hand). Four ceramic vessels were installed at the head of the bed. According to radiocarbon analysis, the double burial dates back to the 18th century BC.
