Methodological seminar was held

On 11/29/2023, in accordance with the work plan of the Quality assurance Commission, a methodological seminar was held at the Faculty of Education on improving teaching methods in Higher Education on the topic "New approaches in teaching independent disciplines in higher education organizations".

Moderators of the seminar: Aidarbekova K. A., Beisenbayeva A.M., Asetova Zh. B. - senior teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education.

The purpose of the seminar: to reveal the significance and potential of the coaching approach in teaching independent disciplines in the pedagogical process in higher education organizations.

The seminar is organized in the coaching format as an innovative way of learning to improve the quality of vocational education in higher education organizations. The coaching seminar was conducted in three stages: introductory, main-updating the problem and final - "debriefing". The seminar showed that coaching in education is an effective way to arouse students' interest in learning, unlock the potential for the development of such important values for a person as honesty, reliability, openness, clarity, sincerity, equality, empathy, responsibility, develop their practical skills and abilities, effectively master programs and cognitive tasks.

New teaching methods such as "Crossens", "Cognitive balance", "SWOT analysis", "Digital Newspaper", used in solving the goals and objectives of the coaching seminar, were implemented through active feedback. The participants of the coaching seminar highly appreciated this event, expressed their appreciation and wished further professional growth. When summarizing the results of the coaching seminar, it was noted that the use of coaching elements in the learning process contributes to strengthening the quality of education, the full disclosure of the potential of the student, and, coaching seminar, as an innovative teaching method should be actively and widely used in higher education organizations
