Today, April 1, is celebrated as International Bird Day at the Faculty of Biology and Geography. At the Department of Zoology, from April 1 to April 3, within the framework of the discipline “Ornithology”, educational and educational activities are carried out among students in educational programs 6B05101-Biology, 6B01509-Biology, 6B05201-Ecology in accordance with the plan of the department. From April 1 to 3, voting will continue using a QR code for the “best photo” of birds and crafts. International Bird Day began to be celebrated in 1906 after the adoption of the Convention for the Conservation of Birds. Its basic rules are to protect all bird species during nesting and migration, endangered bird species; prohibit or limit certain types of hunting; aims to create sanctuaries for bird breeding and environmental education. Birds are nature, the beauty of life. People equated the singer to a nightingale, an honorary citizen to a falcon, a beautiful beauty to a swan, and her boyfriend to a hawk. In ancient times, rich people, kings and khans kept a nightingale singing in their garden, kept a parrot in their house, swam a swan in a lake, held a falcon in their hands.
