September 8-9, 2022 at Karaganda Buketov University an International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor T.G. Mustafin "Actual problems of mathematics, mechanics and informatics" was held in mixed face-to-face and remote format.
T.G. Mustafin - major scientist-mathematician in the field of mathematical logic, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor. He was the founder and the first head of the Higher Algebra Chair, Dean of the Mathematical Faculty, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Karaganda State University, Director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the first day of the conference, September 8, the plenary session was opened by the vice-rector for scientific work of Karaganda Buketov University, Doctor of Chemistry, Professor Erkeblan Muratovich Tazhbayev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Aibat Rafhatovich Yeshkeyev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Murat Ibrayevich Ramazanov and Dean of Mathematics and Information Technology Faculty Dinara Ashubasarovna Kazimova. The plenary talks were made by Academician of RAS Goncharov S. S. (Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS, Novosibirsk, Russia), Professor Ye.D. Nursultanov (Lomonosov Moscow State University, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan), Professor N.A. Bokayev (L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, Moscow, Russia).
The main work of the International Scientific Conference was held in six sections: SECTION 1: Algebra, Mathematical Logic and Geometry (moderators: Professor Kulpeshov B.Sh., Professor Verbovsky V.V., Professor Baisalov Ye.R., Professor Tusupov D.A.), SECTION 2: Theory of Functions and Functional Analysis (moderators: Professor Bokayev N.A., Professor Nursultanov Ye.D.), SECTION 3: Differential Equations and their applications" (moderator: Professor Ramazanov M.I.), SECTION 4 "Relevant problems of education" (moderator: Professor Zhetpisov K.), SECTION 5 "Mechanics and robotics" (moderator: Kurmanova D.E.), SECTION 6 "Information technologies" (moderator: Spankulova L.S.).
The electronic collection of scientific conference abstracts consists of about 200 sectional papers and 24 plenary talks by representatives of Far and Middle East countries, namely Lyon (France), Oxford (UK), New Jersey (USA), Manchester (UK), Novosibirsk (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan) as well as leading scientists from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
