From November 21, 2023 to December 26, 2023 at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov attended an online course for 72 hours of guest lectures by Svetlana Yurievna Novoselova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Sochi Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). The course “Model of a teacher and pedagogical activity as a structural element of educational theory” contributed to the formation of ideas about the modern model of a teacher in the context of the pedagogical thought development and educational practice for the development of subject areas, logic and design of new pedagogical research. The lectures covered current concepts of teacher education; 21st century skills in the context of modern educational realities; multicultural education of a modern teacher; information and communication technologies in education: from the traditional textbook to the digital educational environment; professional self-development of a teacher, taking into account innovative trends in modern theories and practices of education. The lectures were held in the form of a constructive, meaningful dialogue and aroused great interest among students of educational programs 7М01101 – Pedagogy and psychology, 7М01201 – Preschool education and upbringing, 7M01301, 8D01301 – Pedagogy and methods of primary education and teachers of the Faculty of Education.
