On January 25, the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana) hosted the forum of the National Congress of Historians of Kazakhstan "Current Problems of National History". The forum was attended by 250 representatives of the Kazakh scientific community. One of the main areas of the event was the discussion of the content and controversial issues dedicated to the academic publication "History of Kazakhstan from Ancient Times to the Present Day". Historians and archaeologists of the university are the authors of sections on this fundamental work. As part of the scientific forum, an exhibition "Archaeology of Kazakhstan: New Discoveries" was also organized, which presented valuable artifacts from the history of the country, including exhibits found by archaeologists of the Karaganda University.
