The Department of Finance of the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketovtook part in the international winter school -2025, held by the South Kazakhstan Universitynamed after M. Auezov (Shymkent).The international winter school "Financial Literacy and Digital Transformation: Challenges andOpportunities" was organized for professors, doctoral and master's students of Kazakhstan andforeign scientists. The school was held from 13.01.2025 to 25.01.2025 online. Lecturers fromsuch countries as Poland, Romania, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan deliveredtheir lectures.PhD in Economics, Associate Professor S.M. Vorobyova took part in the Winter School as aspeaker from Buketov University. The school participants were offered the topic for discussion:“The role of digitalization in the development of insurance in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
