ECO-BREAKTHROUGH: KARAGANDA STUDENTS OFFER WASTE-FREE TECHNOLOGIES


On February 27, in honor of the 100th anniversary of Academician E. A. Buketov, the Chemical Faculty of Karaganda University hosted a scientific and educational exhibition "Waste-Free Technology". This event brought together students from universities and colleges who presented innovative solutions for waste reduction, recycling, and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies into production.Today, modern challenges require bold solutions, and Karaganda students have proven that they are ready not only to think about ecology, but also to propose real mechanisms for change. The projects presented at the exhibition covered a wide range of issues: the development of new waste recycling methods, the reuse of resources, and the introduction of alternative recycling technologies.Each work was distinguished by its scientific depth, creativity, and practical focus. Particular attention was paid to finding effective ways to minimize waste at various stages of production and in everyday life.The winners of the "Waste-free Technology" competition were:1st place and a prize of 25,000 tenge were won by students of the Karaganda Industrial and Technological College.2nd place and a prize of 20,000 tenge were shared by two teams: Karaganda Higher Humanitarian College and Karaganda College of Transport Technologies.3rd place and a prize of 15,000 tenge were received by students of Karaganda University and students of the Chemistry Department.All participants of the exhibition received certificates confirming their contribution to the development of environmental initiatives. This is an important recognition of their efforts and motivation for further research in the field of sustainable development.
