The Department of Psychology of E.A. Buketov Karaganda University held the annual regional scientific-practical conference "Balaubaev Readings - XIV" on 30.04.2023, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the university.
The goal of the conference was to discuss current theoretical and applied issues of modern psychology and to exchange research experience.
Zholmakhan Turkpenovich Turkpenov (Cand. Sc. (Psychology), professor, Almaty) greeted the conference participants and read the report "The name of the great teacher is eternal: scientist-psychologist Salken Balausbayev" in a video message.
Serik Kairibayuly Ospan (art historian, staff member of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan) took part in the work of the conference with the report "About the elder Salken (from memory) according to the story of a kind old man".
Bibisara Aubakirovna Amirova (D.Sc. (Psychology), professor of the Department of psychology) offered to attention of audience the report "Fate did not disappoint, the victim of Alash is a scientist-psychologist Salken Balaubayev".
Olga Grigorievna Blok (senior lecturer of the Psychology Department) made a report "The past of psychology in our university as a potential for its development".
As part of the conference, the contest of scientific articles of undergraduate and graduate students was held.
