On March 17, 2023, the Department of Preschool and Psychological and Pedagogical Training of the Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov (buketov.edu.kz) together with colleagues of the Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky (FKU) (https://mgutm.ru/) organized and held the 10th anniversary International scientific and Practical Conference "Axiological aspects of youth education through the prism of digital transformation of the educational process". The main purpose of the conference was to identify the problems and prospects of educating young people in the context of digital transformation of education.
The participants of the conference were addressed with a welcoming speech:
- Dulatbekov Nurlan Orynbasarovich – Doctor of Law, Professor, Rector of the Buketov University;
- Mironov Arseniy Stanislavovich – Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Acting Rector of the Moscow State University named after K.G. Razumovsky (FKU).
The urgency of the problem of digital transformation of education is associated with the orientation of digital technologies to learning with a fairly frequent disregard for the educational and developmental potential of this process, lack of attention to the axiological component.
More than 150 people from 14 countries of the far and near abroad, including Ivory Coast, Benin, Lebanon, Canada, Turkey, Germany, Malta, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, responded to participate in the conference.
The conference provided an opportunity to reflect the core thematic lines of problems related to the possibilities of using digital products in educational activities and understanding education as part of social reality.
