Among the participants of the Olympiad who passed to the final round were teams from 14 universities of Kazakhstan:
- K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University;
- Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University;
- L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University;
- Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism;
- Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University;
- KAZGUU named after M.S. Narikbayev;
- Karaganda Buketov University;
- Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz;
- Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University;
- Ualikhanov University;
- International University of Tourism and Hospitality;
- Turan-Astana University;
- University of International Business;
- NARXOZ University.
The participating teams had to pass the following stages:
1. testing by the disciplines of the tourism profile (on the basis of the University);
2. the protection of the project work on the topic: “Digital ecosystem of tourist destinations: components, solutions, prospects for implementation” (on the basis of the university);
3. competitions in sports tourism and tourist all-round events (on the basis of the Central Park of Karaganda).
Leading experts in the field of entrepreneurship, tourism business and research on the digitalization of tourism as well as specialists in sports tourism and orienteering were involved as judges.
In accordance with the final results, the winners in the team competition were:
1st place
- The team of the students “Digital nomads” of the Karaganda Buketov University
2nd place
- The team of the students “SHARYQTA” of the KAZGUU named after M.S. Narikbayev;
- The team of the students “KazAST” of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism
3rd place
- The team of the students “Zhubanov Team” of the K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University;
- The team of the students “FESTINA” of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University;
- The team of the students “SANAD” of the University of International Business.
According to the results of the personal standings, the prizes were distributed as follows:
1st place
Samat Dias Kajratuly – the team “Digital nomads” of the Karaganda Buketov University
2nd place
Abdullaeva Jel’mira Adil’zhanovna – the team “K2” of the Ualikhanov University;
Koneshov Tahir Rashidovich – the team “KazAST” of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism”
3rd place
Temirbaeva Zhanel’ Ahmetzhankyzy – the team “Zhubanov Team” of the K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University;
Zhakijanova Nurshashu Dauletkyzy – the team “SHARYQTA” of the KAZGUU named after M.S. Narikbayev;
Kapsaljamova Zhannur Bejsembaevna – the team “FESTINA” of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University”.
As part of the stage “Tourist orienteering” the following teams were additionally awarded with diplomas:

- The team of the students “SHARYQTA” of the KAZGUU named after M.S. Narikbayev
3rd place
- The team “Meridian” of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz;
- The team “Zhubanov Team” of the K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University;
- The team of the students “KazAST” of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism.
The scientific supervisors of the teams were awarded letters of thanks. The participants of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas and cups.
